Copper cables

I can't get a regular wifi to my flat because it is all copper cables. There is a sky master microfilter small plug in inside the flat. Online it says I can't get wifi to my address but I'm unsure as to why this is in here, the previous tenant must have had sky. I currently have a router with a SIM card and it isn't working well at all.
