@Roberto333 it is quite complicated and varies by area. Openreach are switching off the old analogue voice lines early in 2027 which does not directly affect most broadband services but does affect customers whose exchange cannot support Sky's digital voice service over partial fibre. If you are in one of those cases Sky will only be able to offer broadband via a full fibre connection. These customers have been told if they dont switch they will lose their broadband.
In other areas Openreach will not accept new orders for partial fibre services so if you want to change your service it has to be switched to full fibre. At some point it will be necessary for everyone to switch but that day is some years off. Sky are keen customers switch as it saves them money as the service is far more reliable so requirescfar less support
