Constant broadband outage

We have Sky Broadband and have just switched to fibre. Our connection was ok before but now it keeps dropping out intermittently. Given we both regularly work from home this is an issues especially on teams and zoom calls. When I try to look for a solution it just says check connection speed. Has anyone else has the same issue with fibre? We are out of contract and I think I'm going to switch to a new supplier.

@cpb1 modt likely issue is the WiFi coverage in your home which may have changed when you switched to fibre either because the hub has been moved or you got a new router and have Sky Q boxes. The former is very common and if you are working from home itis worth spending some money to get a better network. While you could buy Sky's WiFi Max package personally I would spend some money and buy a bssic mesh WiFi set up. Typically you need one unit per floor but a lot depends on the laypout of uour home and what it is built from.

Re: Constant broadband outage

Regret ever switching form my old set up.Ever since I swapped to full Fibre and the wretched WiFi Max hub that I pay extra for each month I've been beset with problems. Constant dropping out, particularly during the night. Smart tv''s need to be reconnected [ not hard I know ]. Had issues with Sky Q at first. Had to reset my hub which now runs at 2.4 Ghz, just to be able to connect things. Feel as though I've gone backwards. Fed up with the whole set up. Will leave when contract ends!🙄
