Consistent packet loss and suspected routing issue

Hey all Ive just moved to Sky (4 days ago) from virgin and have been having rather consistent issues I've been trying to play games online with friends (overwatch, battlefield 6 and forza horizon 5) and I cant even load into a game/lobby without my ping shooting from 10ms to 5000ms ive noticed this in discord in a call with them and then I get disconnected from the game and the service it runs wirh IE battle.net, steam or Microsoft services ive been unable to play for 4 days now and I chalked this down to trying to play in congestion time, but I tried at 10am today and still same exact issue Ive looked up online for some solutions and have found no real experience with a similar issue so unsure on what it may be ive spoke to a friend and he thinks it maybe a routing issue but im personally unsure since I dont know much about networking par from the very basics. Im getting all advertised speed for upload and download just i can not connect to a game that uses dedicated servers which is honestly I feel unacceptable when virgin just worked Any help with this it would be appreciated, ill be looking to contact sky in the coming days if I can't get a solution
