Connecting Router

I'm not sure I'm in the correct place but I have received a new router because my old one was no longer receiving updates.  Unfortunately the black cable isn't long enough for me to be able to place the router near a socket.  With my old one I've been using a cable with this written on it ' AWM 20251 26AWG 60C 150V' would this be suitable for me to continue to use?  The new router is Model SR203

Given the query I probably don't need to mention this but I'm an older person who is no good with technology and unfortunately has no one who can help.  Any advice would be appreciated

You should be able to use the cable you have with the new Sky hub as it doesn't matter which one you use as the connection in the back should be the same that the older one had.

That's probably a cat 5 ethernet cable, so yes, you can connect one end to your where your broadband enters the house and the other to your router (the port marked 'WAN').

I think it's more likely to be an RJ11 to RJ11 'modem' cable from a master socket for FTTC.
