Compensation not issued
On the 27th May I lost my broadband, I reported it on the 28th and booked an engineer for the 3rd June. A day later I recieved an message from Sky saying the issue was in the village which had been fixed and they had cancelled the engineer for me. However we still didn't have broadband so we rebooked an engineer but now had to wait until the 9th June.
I called Sky and they said to go to Argos to buy a £50 dongle and sent me a link. The dongle was rubbish it only did one laptop not the house so we still had no TV, house alarm, CCTV etc, we were told we'd get a £30 Tesco voucher which hasn't happened.
The engineer turned up didn't touch anything but rang someone and told me there was an issue in the village but couldn't fix it until the 19th because the box was near electric cables, he then left.
I then spend £95 on 4g router, the 19th came nothing was fixed, so I rang sky again and was told "well there's other in the area without broadband aswell" I booked another engineer who turned up on the 26th June he took the box off the wall and then said he'd got service to the house but now the router wasn't working (I know it was before because I have a old router and tried it on the 19th and it didn't work either) we had a new router delivered on the 29th and worked fine.
I waited 30 days and had no Tesco vouchers and no compensation, I've rung Sky 4 or 5 times now and had different answers everytime, and when they cant answer they say I'll ring you in 3 days and never do, the second to last I was on the phone to someone in Sky for 59 minutes he said I'll call you back again no call back.. My last call the agent put me on hold then a Scottish lady came on the line had no idea why I was put through to her I explained again and she said Im in cancellation and finish in 30 minutes I'll call you back tomorrow and as usual no call back. At the moment I've no idea what to do next, I think Sky owe us nearly £300 and £30 tesco vouchers. If anyone know what to do next I'd appreciate the help.

Re: Compensation not issued
Hi
I took the advice and complained howevever Sky have come back and said they agree there was an outage from the 27th May to 29th June but our outage didn't meet the requirement for automatic compensation and have offer me £35.61 and an additional £30 credit to my account as they dont issue Tesco vouchers.
They said sorry staff said they would call back and didn't and I had to buy my own equipment.
Am I being taken for stupid by them or have I missed something?
I have replied asking for an explanation how they calculated £35.61 bearing in mind they still took the £23.00 monthly subscription.
Thanks again for any pointers
James
