Company configuration setting

Can a company configuration setting be effected during outages and or any other means?

Nothing Sky can do will change hard-set software configuration on other (non-Sky) devices.  However it's certainly possible that changes Sky makes on its own hardware and upstream network could cause non-Sky devices to have problems where none existed previously.

 

During an actual outage, by definition various things aren't going to work.

I guess one possible exception is if external IP address is being read into software.
