Cancelling general question

If we are moving house and we cannot use sky for broadband would we need to pay to leave sky

If you are currently within a minimum contract term then you'd need to negotiate that with Sky: they would naturally be unhappy if you are at an early stage within a first term because they've already paid up-front charges for activation at the current address which the rest of the subscription is intended to cover.

And if Sky say no then use the OTS service to switch provider to one that offers to pay some if not all of your ETC's.
