Cancelling a fix term contraxt
Hi, my contract (18 month) comes to its end early Aug. I do want to extend it as I move out of the UK. What can I do to close the contract and do not pay the early teermination fee or any additional month?

Re: Cancelling a fix term contraxt
You will need to give Sky 14 days nortice to cancel it, so you can either call or use the messaging service to do this.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom of the page.
Depending on what hub yu have you might also need to return it.
Sky usually sends packaging out near the end of the cancellation notice period of the 14 days for Broadband/Talk so if you haven't received it then you can use whatever boxes you have or can get as this link will help you to print the return label and return it via Royal Mail:

Add a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment you have included.
Make sure you get and keep proof of posting when sending this off.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Re: Cancelling a fix term contraxt
@CSin when the fixed period on a Sky contract ends it rolls over to becoming a monthly rolling agreement so if you need some time in August until you move simply dont enter into a new fixed term. As @caesarome points out you only need to give 14days notice on Broadband contracts.
You pay for Broadband in adviance but Sky will refund anything due at cancellation but it will take a few weeks to come through after any equipment returned has been checked in
