Re: Cancelled Sky/CityFibre order
@cookiemonsteruk Got what you are saying, but why does this have any effect on CF supplying Fibre direct to sky, are you saying sky still wants to route back through a OR exchange for Voice?

@cookiemonsteruk With you 100% got that, what if a customer was to say stuff it, drop the phone service don't need it anymore, just give me broadband, does it still throw the spanner in the works. Never easy all this back and forth and treading carefully etc....👍

Re: Cancelled Sky/CityFibre order
A good way to work out if sky has unbundled from Bt openreach is to dial 17070 and wait for a message if it mentions welcome to sky then your landline is unbundled and sky has an MSAN

Yep looks that way. No MSAN to route the calls you can't migrate . It the same reason why sky can't offer talk shield on WLR phone lines like mine (still even after upgrading to fttp ) I thought wlr didn't apply to fttp

Re: Cancelled Sky/CityFibre order
Thanks for coming back with an explanation. Of course, I don't fully understand but it's nice to get a detailed break down of why they can't migrate me, rather than no, or very little, explanation.
I look forward to that day when I can get FF.

Re: Cancelled Sky/CityFibre order
Just an update on my predicament. On Monday (4th Aug) I see cityfibre and sky installing full fibre to my neighbour, next door but one. I go and talk to the engineers and they see no reason why I can't get full fibre. During the conversation they tell me my neighbour on they other side also has full fibre. This makes me more confused as to why I have problems getting full fibre. I feel a call to sky is high on my agenda.

Re: Cancelled Sky/CityFibre order
@mapster Can you just not ask the neighbour what they did for them, problem you have is 1. length remaining, 2. Phone connection issue, see if any that applies per the neighbour's connection!

Yes, I'll be having a chat with my neighbour when I see them.
