Cancellation

Hey guys. I am moving out but I don't want to take my broadband with me. How do I cancel online? Also do I have to return the hun as I no longer have access to the property anymore.

You can’t cancel all or part of your subscription on this forum. You need to contact Sky Customer Services. You can ring or try the messaging service.

Sky Broadband: This link will help you https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband#still-need-hand

I presume you mean returning the hub, not hun. This link should help you https://www.sky.com/help/articles/return-or-recycle-sky-equipment

@Charlie993You would have to call Sky in order to cancel your broadband service and Sky will most likely want their equipment back. As you could be charged for its non-return.

If someone has helped give them Like.

If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

@Siu+Kuen
If you are cancelling Sky broadband and Sky Talk totally or are moving to Virgin you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you are changing to another ISP who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.
You’ll need to return any loaned router so ensure you get proof of posting and keep it indefinitely.

@Siu+Kuen

There are a few ways to do this including using a messaging service as you can see via the Yes button at the bottom of this page, this open at 9am in the morning:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband

So select "Yes I still need help" at the bottom of the page as the options will load after about 5 seconds.

@Lisa+beale
Sky Broadband and Sky Talk ~ To cancel totally or if you’re moving to Virgin you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days, but if you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you are changing to another provider who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.
You’ll need to return any loaned router to Sky, so it’s very important you get proof of posting and keep it indefinitely.

Hi Everyone

We cannot assist you with cancelling or changing your services here; therefore I'm closing this thread.  You'll see some of the ways to get in touch above.

All the best

Thanks
