Can’t connect to devices in certain rooms and slow conection

In the last week, I have been unable to connect to the WiFi on certain devices and in my living room and the router has been in the same position for over a year. 

when my tv and game console do connect, it's really slow and lags. My phone also doesn't connect but as I go closer to the router, my phone connects automatically.

need help please.
