Can I extend my ultrafast broadband full five cable

I have ultrafast full fibre broadband straight to the house. I want to love the cable around 3 metres further down our hall way. Is it possible to add an extension kit to a full fibre cable or do I need to get open reach to run a new cable with the additional length that we would then need to track into the wall to the new location?

Optical cable is cut to length and then fusion spliced, so extending it is not without potential issues.  There are solutions such as this one which may or may not be viable.

Remember that it's always possible to move the Sky Hub by using a longer ethernet cable: it's the ONT which presents a challenge.
