By landline

I have a Bt landline but the broadband and internet is sky.Bt have said I can't have just the line I have to have their broadband which I don't want.I don't use the phone.If I cancel the Bt will I lose the internet or has Sky got a land line?

There's a digital voice service called 'Sky Talk Internet Calls' bundled with all current Sky Broadband.  The default 'Sky Talk Pay As You Talk' has a high cost per minute if actually used for outbound communication, but doesn't otherwise add to the monthly subscription price.

Tidying up the legacy splitting of voice from data is something Openreach is currently very keen for ISPs to do.

You may find you need to recontract with Sky to achieve this.

You have a decision to make as you can't continue with the two different companies for broadband and talk so either you have them both with Sky or both with Bt as the choice is yours.

@Boxermum Don't forget about early termination charges when deciding which to keep, rather than purely total monthly cost. I'd presume (do check though) that BT would be ETC free given they can no longer supply it for much longer. If you're out of minimum term with both, that'll give you the opportunity to renegotiate your price with both and then decide. Don't forget to include a calls package in the negotiations if you use the home phone for outgoing calls often.
