@Browner Firesticks are quite small and are plugged into the back of a TV which contain metal which blocks a lot of the WiFi signal from your Sky hub. You can check the speed your Firestick is actually receiving by running the Network test in the Netflix app's Get Help menu you need at least 25Mb/s for UHD..
One way to improve the signal is to connect the Firestick using acshort HDMI extention cable which Amazon used to bundle with the Firestick but now sell separately.
