Buffering

Anyone have any ideas as to why when watching TV the signal or whatever keeps stopping or buffering? 

we are literally in the same room as the WiFi. Tv is plugged into the box. 

we never had this issue with BT. We have been with sky for 3 months now... it's not a great experience so far.

 

online app says everything is fab. 

also we don't get much reach of WiFi upstairs, which we never had an issue prior with BT. 

suggestions? Thanks
