Broadband router

Just moved house taking old router with me, took out new contract they didn't send me a new router just a cable in the post to connect my old router that is working fine, they've now sent me packaging to sent my router back, I'm getting sick of spending hourse on the phone trying to explain problems to people who don't undrstand me.
