Broadband recently installed but has never worked

My ultrafast broadband was installed Friday 28/07/24 but has never worked. The engineer explained the lights would cycle tjru the differant colours and it would tale several hours and could take until midnight. 

it has now been 5 days, the lights keep changing and still no service. Have gone thru  My Sky with the various instructions, testing the line, and been told a line test would be done within 72 hours, still nothing, no contact. 

I have turned the hub & fibre interface box on & off several times, still no change & no service. Not impressed 

 

Maybe time to give up, cancel & stick with Virgin

@billyb_imp you need to talk to Sky as they need to check out what has gone wrong. To make that easy I have escalated your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
