our broadband is currently out. We received a text yesterday about an issue. My wife works from home and is currently unable to work due to this issue. Do you have any timescale for when the work is being completed?

You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on here. This is primarily a customer to customer forum. I'm afraid any repair isn't any faster because someone works from home as Sky Broadband is a domestic service with the standard repair times. Openreach aim to fix faults in two working days from being notified and claim to reach that target 80%+ of the time.
