Broadband outage

Hi 

 

anyone else experiencing broadband outage? I've logged into my account and the broadband checker says there is an outage in my area. Currently in chesterfield.

@Claireywoo  If this only happened this morning and Sky are aware of it and this is an area wide outage then Openreach will be dealing with it.

Might still be wise to report your individual problem. The below link explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account.

I'm working from home today and was in a Teams Call and I lost connection.

I have the same message when I check here in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

In case you’re not already aware, you aren’t talking to Sky Customer Services here. This is a customer based forum where we try to help other customers. This thread isn't a method of reporting any outage to Sky.
