The service checker is not the quickest at picking up external faults but it is worth keeping an eye on:

Re: WiFi not working

Spoke on live chat to someone on the team (not AI) and she tells me to restart router and check my cables aren't loose...Have told her 25+ people on the forum are experiencing the same issue.....

Re: WiFi not working

Outcome of the conversation is that all the connection is working completely fine in my area and I can upgrade to Sky hub max

"I've checked your details and can confirm that your broadband speed to your hub is performing well. It seems the issue is that your current setup is struggling to extend the network service throughout your entire house, especially with a high number of devices connected to the broadband router. This is making it difficult to maintain a strong connection for all your devices."

Raging

Re: WiFi not working

Same here! Sky tells me everything is fine but it's clearly not. Restarted the lot but nothing and trying to get a Sky human response is impossible. Absolutely raging. (Edinburgh).

Re: WiFi not working

What chance have we got when they keep telling me there is a problem with my cables and that they might not be 'fully connected' at both ends.

@Sarrund

There are apparently problems in Edinburgh if you're in that area.

@Sarrund

Are you in Edinburgh, if so there are reported issues today so the first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area, it can be a bit slow at picking up issues so if nothing shows perhaps try it again later:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If nothing shows then try this line test:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.
