Broadband not connecting
Hi - my broadband hub has a solid white light but is not connecting. We have sky gigafast. It seems to be working/connected on some devices but not all. For example, my XBOX can't even locate the wireless network.
Has anyone else experienced this before? Any fixes or ideas would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Re: Broadband not connecting
@Sammyseahorse88 if some devices are connecting then your connection is working. Considervthe location of the devices which connect and thise that are not as it could simply be poor WiFi in some rooms in your home. In many homes you need more than a single Sky hub to get usable WiFi in every room. This is particularly so in older homes with solid internal walls. It is worth seeing if you can improve the pisition of your Sky hub which should be out in the open on a surface so it is above obstructions like radiators. You may need to getva longer ethernet cable to connect the hub to the ONT. Beyond that you can pay for Sky's WiFi Max bundlecwhich can provide up,tom3 extenders or buy your own home wifi setup which can work out cheaper innthe long run.
Playing games on a Xbox connected by poor WiFi is miserable so for a games console consider buying a powerline networking kit that uses adapters that send data over your home's mains wiring.
