Broadband nightmare
I upgraded broadband on 8/6/26 and was due to have it installed on the 24/6/26. Open reach attended and couldn't do it due to wrong telephone pole being identified, I then waited to weeks for the full fibre cable to be fitted but then broadband still wouldn't work.
I was advised to cancel and reorder broadband to book a new install which was meant to happen today 17/7/26 which in itself this wait was outrageous in my opinion with WiFi or my tv.
open reach attended and competed the work stating it will be activated at some point today before midnight.
Now passed that and still no broadband and my sky is showing I don't have broadband with sky.
so frustrated and not sure where I go now, cancel again, wait for someone to get in touch, 24 days with no services from sky no resolution. Even no response to complaints made about the service Iv received.
anyone have any advice?

Re: Broadband nightmare
@Kat347 Sky should have got an update from Openreach overnight. The engineers excuse that the servicecshould becactivated within 24 hours was their way t o get out of the door the servicecshould have been tested and emonstated during the appointment.
To help I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
