Broadband keeps dropping out intermittently
Broadband keeps dropping. Every 30 mins to 5 mins the internet stops and we get two amber lights on the hub. Sky app says no known issues. But when the lights come back on the hub works fine. We get a day or two with no problems then a night when its off on off on all night.
its so frustrating and they wont send an engineer for four days. Digusting when you pay for a service that youre not getting.
must be a problem with the line some where as speeds are not as fast as they should be. Thinking of dropping sky broadband its ridiculous.

Re: Broadband keeps dropping out intermittently
Ours has been dipping out over night for months, not made an issue of it as we're all meant to be asleep at this time but this weekend it's been shocking! All day today it's dropping out yet says no fault on the app but in the sky Q box settings it says not connected and no internet then it connects then wi tv on minutes it's dropped again.
£150 odd pm for this and it's not like I can go elsewhere for tv this is our only option
100% not happy and can't get any discount despite being a loyal customer for 18 years

Same here I've been with them since they first started broadcasting. Yes I'm that old.
enfuriating. All they have said is an engineer will come out on Wednesday 1/5.
or I can cancel and go elsewhere.

Re: Broadband keeps dropping out intermittently
If it is as your stats show dropping every 1/2 hour that indicates dlm constantly adapting to fluctuating line speeds. If you've already booked an engineer then certainly let that go ahead
Have you checked for fttp availability?

Re: Broadband keeps dropping out intermittently
We live in a park home site. I've been told no fibre available. Which is a shame as we had it where we used to live. We are one of only a handful of homes that have underground telecoms. All the other homes have overhead phone lines so why we can't have fibre I don't know.

Internet dropping not fixed stll an issue
We've been having issues with our broadband for last two weeks with Internet dropping out periodically. Sometimes dozens of times a night. Had a BT openreach engineer out today. He did a test and said fault was between us and the cabinet not our setup. He came back saying hed replaced an old part that was draining broadband and speed was improved for about two hours. He's now long gone and problem has started again. BT openreach's reply , we cant help talk to your ISP.
back to where we started with no help whatsoever from BT or sky. Constant interruption of our Glass TV programs. Annoying. Maybe time to give sky the elbow.
