Broadband issues

I have tested my line and if there are any outages in the area and there are not, but the last few week my broadband has been ridiculous, not working at all... I have had to use my phones data to hot-spot my devices at home .... sky isn't as good as I hoped.it would be....I don't even know why I am paying for the max hub thing it's not boosting anything !!

That's correct.  If you have opted to pay the WiFi Max subscription supplement then booster pods need to be claimed under the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee'.

Re: Broadband issues

I am still using the hot spot from my phone to work my tv and laptop ... this connectivity is not good at all. I have been signed up to fibre broadband but that's not happening until after the 1st April ... surely I should have to pay for a service I am not benefiting from !

@Gettingannoyed1 Switching to full fibre won't sort slow WiFi in your home you will need to improvecthst as well. Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.

If you have bought Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle thst can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or alternatively buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
