Broadband issue
Broadband dropping out and reconnecting every hour or so? Recieved notification from Sky last week they are offering faster broadband in the area so agreed, recieved a new cable in the post to replace exsisting cable from router to ohone socket and told switch over to after service on the 22nd next week, is there a link?

Re: Broadband issue
@Djp6 your connection is being switched from a oartial fibre service that uses a copper phone line to a new full fibre connection to your home. The old partial fibre service has limits on speed and reliability caused by the copper connection. The new full fibre connection should be more stable and can carry much higher speeds potentially over 10 times the 80Mb/s limit of the old connection.
The grandly named conversion kit Sky has sent you is in fact a short ethernet cable which is used to connect your Sky hub to the new ONT unit the engineer will fit in hour home where the full fibre cable ends. This link explains what to expect https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/full-fibre-broadband-installation-checklist
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
