Broadband installation delays

I opted for Sky broadband installation on June 

Openreach has rescheduled installation  7 times

now rescheduled for end of August!!

what sort of service is that!!

@FrancoCap given Openreach install over 10k fibre lines eaxh day of which a small % hut snags if which your's sounds to be one it isnt bad service but simply bad luck. Delays can have many causes but blocked ducts and trees blocking overhead runs are quite common.

As @Chrisee indicates, while any individual installation is 100% important to the household involved, it's 0.0015% of the Openreach FTTP target for that week.

 

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.
