I was due to have my broadband connected next Thursday (27th) however my stuff came yesterday. I called sky to see if I could move my date sooner but due to the poor automated service it rescheduled it for 3rd May. Leaving me without any wifi/tv even longer. Is there a way I can get an appointment sooner as whenever I track and reschedule it tells me to call sky. When I do they say they can't change it 😔

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@EmilyMc the dates are set by Openreach not by Sky themselves. It is very rare to get dates moved forwards as you found when changing dates they go backwards.

Is there a way I can contact openreach?! So frustrating as it was picking up the minions in the back ground (yes the actual minions I don't call my child that) and it changed it to further date 😭

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreUnfortunately no you cant contact Openreach directly, the communication is between Openreach & the ISP only.
The best thing you can do is call Sky again and try to speak to someone to see if the date you had previously is still available in the calendar.
