Broadband down

The sky router has been on a red dot for the whole day. Did the app test things and each time they have said the broadband is down for the area even though it's been a whole day. Tried resetting the router but it goes from the orange dot to the red dot straight away. How do I get into contact with help? Does my router need replacing? I need this asap.

@Madi4 the red light indicates your hub has lost connection to the exchange. If Skyvare reporting there is an issue affecting your area there is nothing you can do until that is fixed. You hub should reconnect when the line is back up so leave it plugged in.

 

 How long it will take to repair the fault is impossible to know most takeca few hours, some a couple of days and a few can be weeks but that is rare. Sky are unlikely to have much information on time scales often the engineers doing the work dont know themselves.

Right okay, I've left everything in as normal. Still showing red but hopefully it will sort out soon. :))
