Openreach aim to respond to such faults within 2 working days so this coming Monday will be that second day so any updates should appear here:

We are in the same boat. Going to start costing money as having to use our phones to hot-spot. We have a WiFi charging port for our EV so will been grounded when the battery runs out. No sense of urgency! No one answers the phone so you get absolutely no idea of how long. Just worried incase there's a medical emergency or such like!

Unfortunately domestic broadband subscription rates don't cover 'urgency'.

Re: Broadband down from 23rd October

I know exactly how you feel! Mine has been down since midday on 19th October!

I called and was told it'd be sorted Tuesday afternoon then called again Wednesday to be told I'll have to wait till Monday 27th for it to come back on.

Sky Customer Services agents won't know the requirements for fixing a fault. For example if the road or pavement needs to be dug up Openreach have to acquire the necessary permission from the local council then find the appropriate workers to carry out the job.
