Broadband connection issues

Subject: Ongoing Sky Network Connection Issues Dear Sky Support, I’m experiencing persistent connection issues with my Sky network setup. Both the router and Sky Puck have been powered off and restarted multiple times. The Sky Puck is currently set to connect via Ethernet. While it briefly connects to the internet, the connection drops after 5 seconds or less. The network settings confirm that the broadband router is connected and that there is an internet connection — but then it immediately disconnects. The following error messages are displayed: • “There is a problem connecting to your broadband router. If you want to connect to a different router press reset.” • “There seems to be a problem with your broadband.” Additionally, when attempting to view any program, the message “There is a technical fault. Please try again later.” appears. Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

@John1509

Your are not talking to Sky support as this is a community where customers help each other.

Try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
