Broadband Router

What router does SKY install with 1GB broadband. Is the SR203 the standard router for this?

@BDow59 it depends if you are an existing custommer with a SR203 you are likely to becsent a conversion kit of an ethernet cable to continue using thst. If you arexa new customer you arevprobsbly going to becsent the white Sky Max hub model SR213. However things can vary.

Re: Broadband Router

Thanks - I signed up for 1GB few months ago and noted in last few days the max download speed I am getting is average 250mbps. Checked router and see it is SR203 which I gather is 2019 one, not capable of delivering near 1GB even with full fibre broadband. Feel I was had by SKY

The SR203 Sky Broadband Hub has a 1000Mbs WAN ethernet port and so is compatible with gigabit FTTP.

In real world conditions you are unlikely to get gigabit speeds wirelessly even with a Max Hub and WiFi 6 client devices.
