Broadband ONT instillation

Hi,

I'm trying to purchase broadband for the first time in my new flat. I don't currently have an ONT for fibre broadband but when I go to purchase a plan the website says I don't need an engineer to come out to fit it, I haven't been given an option to change this and don't know how to go about it. Has anyone had this issue before? Any help would be much appreciated.

If you are in Ireland then Siro tend to colocate the ont where the electric metre is being a joint venture between Vodafone and ESB

If you are in the uk and recently moved previous occupiers may have made off with it

I have recently moved to the UK, moved into a flat that has been recently renovated, perhaps the landlord didn't put it back?

If I purchase a broadband package and call Sky would they send an engineer out to input one do you think?

If you go ahead with the booking then notify sky on the date of activation they should be able to expedite an openreach engineer to fit the ont

Could you enter your full uk address in the wholesale checker copy and paste the notes below the table it will show whether an ont was there

Yep openreach think an ont exists withan active service.  So call sky on the day of activation to request an ont

If in the Republic of Ireland go to the bottom of the page and change the flag to Republic of Ireland
