Broadband Issues
Hi, I am new to Sky in the last month. Decided to go all in and go Giga-Fast and 2 x TV Pucks / Ultimate TV.
However all I seem to have is issues.
TV - every now and then the puck in the same room as the router (12 foot distance / direct line with no obsticales) freezes and the sound continues. TV Puck shows Excellant Signal. Reason I think it is my Broadband is that I have swapped the Pucks round (other is hard wired in the kitchen) and the issue is now happening on the new Living Room Puck.
Work PC - My work PC keeps freezing / dropping out when on VPN - mainly when I am running things like Outlook or Running Power Bi Queries (on work servers).
PC has to be ran on a VPN and I have followed the Sky instuctions to turn of IPV6 and enable UUPn (or Something). Also followed the Pinned Discussion at the top of the Braodband sections and filled in the form - Sky replied last Monday (within 12 hours of my mail) to say they havd made the changes to my Router Remotely. I even turned off the Router and the inbound City Fibre Box for a good 60 minutes as per the mail reply. Also when I rebooted the TV Pucks did not connect (said not Internet), I had to unplug them and plug them back in (everything else in the house worked fine.
But I am still getting the same issues even now. Even had the route decide the other evening at 5:30 PM that it was going to reboot.
Any ideas - Frustraited as I thought it would be plain sailing with the setup.

Re: Broadband Issues
@Mackie69 Since it appears you have the sky Max hub have you looked at what the advanced wireless is set to, WPA3-T or WPA2? See the link below about it all. You may also wish to Ethernet the puck you have as a wireless connection, that may work a lot better also.
Sky Max change settings link.

Re: Broadband Issues
Hi, It is set to WPA3-T. I would have thought that would be ok with the TV (as it is Sky as well) and my work PC is brand new and they (work) have checked the drivers are up to date. It recognises the WiFi is WPA3-Personal when I look at the Wifi Properties.
Unfortuanatly connecting the TV via Ethernet is not an option as it is the other side of the room the router is in - but also as it is in a direct line with no obsticales. I dont see why I should have to do this anyway - I am spending a lot of money for Broadband and TV and therefore would expect them to work in this situation.
