Broadband Issues - Recent Engineer Visit
I was having issues with my broadband and a BT engineer attended. He said my broadband is fine, he changed the filter socket, and was happy with the speed of the connection. However, since his attendance, my wifi has again dropped twice. I believe the issue might be with my router. I have had my router for 4 years, and was wondering if I could be issued with a new router to try to finally solve the issue, which has been ongoing for a number of months, with several engineer visits failing to fully resolve the issue.

Re: Broadband Issues - Recent Engineer Visit
Is it your WiFi dropping or the physical connection where the internet light drops or flashes amber?
A faulty router can't be ruled out, but if it's the WiFi a hard reset of the router may resolve. Hold the reset button on the back until the power light goes red then flashes green three times.
If you have Sky Q or boosters then these will need resetting and re connecting.
If a replacement router is required then you need to call Sky to discuss.
