Broadband Engineer
Hi, at present i have full fibre with BT and am thinking of changing to Sky as i am rarely at the property and Sky is cheaper. The problem i have is i am not there to recieve an engineer and i have asked sky why i cannot just plug the new box into the line. Unfortunately nobody seems to know if i can do this. It seems such a simple question but obviously isnt asked very often and it does not appear on there answer list. Thank you in advance for any help. Gary.

Re: Broadband Engineer
You, or a responsible adult, would need to receive the Sky hub as well. These are dispatched via Royal Mail and can be tracked once dispatched. Whilst no one needs to be in the postie often leaves it outside (behind a wheelie bin is favourite) but it could go walkabout further delaying the activation process.
