Broadband Cutting Out

For the last few months we have had repeated issues with our broadband intermittently cutting out or suddenly becoming very slow.  These incidents tend to be brief, lasting no more than a few minutes - sometimes just a few seconds - but are causing significant problems with Teams meetings as we work from home and keep having connection issues.  Whenever we check the router it looks fine - all green lights.  We run an internet speed test and it gives variable results - sometimes it cannot connect, sometimes low single figures, sometimes over 70.  It changes minute to minute.  These incidents are happening daily.  This is becoming a very significant problem.
