Broadband Acivation Date Confirmation
Hi
I have been emailed a provisional activation date for installing Sky Full Fibre 150 this Friday, 31st October, now less than a week away.
I cannot find any reference to the order in the MYSKY account - so how am I supposed to track it?
Should I receive or have received another email confirming the date and approximate time of the engineer's visit?
Does he bring the router? I'm with Toob via Citifibre at present.
What number should I call to sort this? My broadband deal with Toob ends on Friday, and I do not want to be left without service.

Hubs are posted out to arrive a few days before the activation date. If you already have a CityFibre circuit then there shouldn't be any need for installer attendance.

@comrog The e-mail with the heading "We're pleased to confirm your order with Sky Broadband and Talk" do you have that from sky?

Hi TBG; maybe that's why I haven't heard anymore - do you think the existing connection to the Toob router plugs into the Sky one?
Still confused as to why my order is not showing/tracking on MySky.
Yes Jim, same email dated 01.10, but just that one, no further update.

@comrog That was mine, and the date on it was when activated. The extract from that e-mail is "Your Sky Broadband will be activated on 10 March." It happened then! Connection from the CF ONT plugs into the WAN connection of whatever sky Hub you are getting!

Thanks - I take it you did not need an engineer to attend?
Did you get the Sky Hub posted to you?

@comrog No engineer required, self install, ordered 5th March live 10th March, very quick transition so sky Hub was out the door and on its way PDQ! OR Fibre EE to Sky!
