Botched installation
City fibre installed an ONT Box for fttp 900mb package 5 mins after the engineers left the connection starting disconnecting all lights on ont box aside from service were green ethernet blinking green but service was blinking green for a few seconds then cutting off then back on then off then on this continued to happenn for 24 hrs the wireless when it does connect allows online game at 15ms latency but every single time it would start to jitter and bmthe latency at it highest spike was recorded as 1500ms that's from 15ms which pretty much ends any gaming
I decided to have a look at the wiring make sure everything was in the connections I noticed when touching the ethernet wire the ONT box moving like a frame on wall attached but moving and the firbre optic wire form the outside moves about under a little hood that isn't secured at bottom properly and I'm sure the engineers were aware the wire wasn't working at the percent its suppose to as I hoped ed to hear them telling each other that it was only 39% then finished as far as I can make out the wire has a fault as their is no local area outages and this isn't your normal first installation line settling bearing in mind I will need pay for an internet that's unusable

Re: Botched installation
@trpa39 The ONT is NOT a firm fixture to the wall mount it's on a set of captive slot arrangement, so really best not to play and move it about, as for the figure that you heard quoted as you are NOT 100% sure then call sky and have the CF Engineer's test the light on the Fibre connection, if it is low you will see the erratic behaviour on the ONT Lights as you describe!

Re: Botched installation
Yeah I've not touched than checking wires were in the ones you put in yourself and I knew it was a box mount but it should be screwed properly against wall for the service to be cutting ofnwithin first half hour and continues to do till now all other lights are correct in how they look it can only be the wire if no faults are in area and front 15ms to 1450ms is big jump or up to 450ms unless thats what should happen but it seems it shouldn't to me but I contacted sky as I don't have clue broadband is showing 950mb speed so that's working fine but the test connection will always show its food when connected obviously so it never picked up any issues aside from broadband
