@Lou2 What is the colour of your Sky hub? The older boosters wont connect yo the new white hubs. If you haven't done a black hub trytesting the booster in the same room as the hub if it doesnt connect there it is faulty if iy connects move it roughly hslfway to where you need the booster and try it there.
