Re: Boost

@cathynlinz You must have ordered it along with your sky Broadband package that you have! Check your e-mails or / and also your My Messages section in your sky Account!

Either you chose to add it to your Sky Broadband subscription, or perhaps Sky opted you in (which is distinctly dubious, but has been known to happen)

If the alleged benefits of the supplement aren't appropriate for your needs, and particularly the loan of booster hardware under the 'WiFi Guarantee' then you should call to cancel.

There was a period of time when Broadband Boost was 'opt-out' rather than 'opt-in'.

@TimmyBGood Thanks, forgot all about that as such a long time ago, should have picked up on the Boost mention?😶👍

Personally I think it was rather naughty of Sky to do so, and I'm a little surprised that Ofcom apparently didn't have an opinion on the matter.  Generally speaking, extra-cost options really shouldn't be opt-out these days.

Re: Boost

@TimmyBGood Takes me back to 2019 when the sky Q changed out to the sky Broadband hub, very much like for like, but always had a spot that the wife struggled with, the good lady that is, just got the SE210 to sort it out which it did, 2 years then cancelled the boost package as thought ok paid enough for it now, hardware sky got there money for it, but the never asked for it to be returned, got them all now from the D-Link to the SR203, but skipped the sky Hub version altogether!  Not using any off them and not so good now especially the old D-Link!!!

That was wrong of them: Broadband Boost (and WiFi Max) adds cost.
