I am being charged for non return which was collected by your site engineer so must be removed and compensated

@Michael09976Any equipment that needs returning has to be done via the proper procedure, handing it to one of Sky's installers won't neccesserily mean that its booked in as returned.

You wlll have to call Sky to inform them what has happened, you would not be entitled to any compensation for this.

The issue you have handing it back to someone is you can not prove that you have done this because had you sent it back via Royal Mail you would have been given a receipt with the tracking details on it so you and Sky could see where it was. So as said above you will just have to explain to Sky by calling them that you did this instead.
