I currently have the best broadband available at my address, however the WiFi speeds are simply not good enough (30Mbps). Is there anyway of finding out if sky are planning on laying down better cables or plan on improving the speeds at my address?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@JakeyT Sky wont; be layiong down any cables, that's not their remit, they use Openreach who own the network.
It is Openreach who do the upgrades this lnk shows what is avialble now on the OR network at your location https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
Other then Openreach rolling out fibre https://www.openreach.com/news/openreach-publishes-latest---full-fibre-build-plans/
Alternative altnets may be coming to your are but Sky don't use any network other than Openreach.
