B-road and boost

What is broadband boost? I have been paying for it for over three years and just been told I should have a device separate to the broadband box which boosts the signal but I don’t have this, and I also read that it wasn’t make the speed quicker. So what is it why have I been miss sold a product? Gutted with myself as I’ve paid nearly £300 for something I think I may not need or not even have 🤦‍♀️

Despite it's name it isn't a boost for your signal as this link explains what it is:

Call Sky to cancel it if you no longer want it.

Broadband Boost is the unfortunate marketing name for a set of additional services, of which the possibility of claiming wireless booster hardware (under specific circumstances) is one element.
