Awful service.

Ordered Sky superfast max because I'd had my previous sky broadband for years and it was the same price to update. 

The hub arrived and I plugged it on activation day when I got the message that it was live. Red light. The MySky app tells you to wait 20 mins for updates. Try this several times. Google it. I see posts saying you may have to wait until midnight. I wait until midnight, try again and still not working. I try again the next morning and no luck. 

I call Sky and they run some tests saying I need an engineer to come out. The quickest they can do is 3 days later and uh oh, they're system won't actually let them book an engineer. I ask the question 'can't you phone or email someone to come out'? Apparently not. it's okay though because Sky say they'll call me back (they don't). 

I come home from work that day and call Sky to find out what's happening. They're going to transfer me through to someone who can help. 55 minutes later and it's 9:05pm (customer service closes at 9:00pm). I hang up. 

I go and see the Sky man in my town centre. He tells me to call this number and say 'CANCEL EVERYTHING', that way Sky will take me serious. Lo and behold that works! Now that I'm saying I want to cancel everything Sky finally want to talk to me. They even book an engineer for me (I'm even told they can email someone if their system doesn't work again). 

Engineer arrives today. Changes over the wall socket. It still doesn't work. Doesn't try changing the hub. Apparently I need open reach to come out. So now I get the joy of seeing if that will fix it. 

WHAT IS HAPPENING SKY?! WHAT IS THIS SERVICE?
