My broadband and land line contact is due to finish at the end of February, I do not want to renew, do I need to inform you that I don't wish to automatically renew ?

Re: Auto renewal?
@Babasheepsa
To cancel Sky Broadband and Sky Talk totally, or if you’re moving to a provider like Virgin Media or City Fibre etc who don’t use the Openreach set up, you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days, but if you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you are changing to another provider who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.
Return packaging will be sent out to you near the end of the notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely.

Re: Auto renewal?
Hi
Thank you for the reply.
so even though I am out of contract with them at the end of the month and don't want to renew I still have to give 14 days notice of cancellation. ?

That is correct as being out of contract means that you can and do need to give notice to cancel.

Re: Auto renewal?
Thank you for confirmation
i will ring them again.
I rang them earlier and was told that as I wasn't under contract I didn't need to give notice, which I didn't think would be correct.
