Are Sky completely clueless?

Received a letter last week informing me of charges for terminating my contract.  As I had only changed to Sky 5 months ago this seemed strange, to say the least.  Also, I had not requested termination and Sky hadn't asked or confirmed with me that I wanted to leave.  A looong phone call with customer service was unhelpful, as have others since then.  The result, I was unable to reinstate my 'old' contract, please have a new one!  I wrote a letter to Sky Customer Service in Livingstone, sent recorded delivery.  It was signed for, but I have had no response yet.  Another letter frkm Sky telling me I was moving house arrived.  A call to customer service was again unsatisfactory but they were "so sorry".  Now an email telling me I have a parcel fron Sky due on Saturday with my new Sky Max hub.  Funny that, because I still have my hub from the contract they unilaterlly terminated.  Not sure where we go from here?  Btw, it seems this all started because a neighbour used our address for their contract and delivery.  I have told Sky that, but still no response or action.

And this is how they treat a 22 year VIP customer!

@Ranulf yiur neighbour has caused this issue by using your address. Given there normally can only be one briadband connection at an address their order forced the switch. Unfortunately Unfortunately, where this happens things get out of control. It is not Sky's fault its how the One `Touch Switch system works. That is not to say Sky should have been smarter in sorting the chaos out but unfortunately these things happen. Response to a written complaint willmtake longer but hopefully they can help.
