Any way to ‘lock in’ a full fibre contract before FTTP becomes available at address?

Hi all. As per the title, I'm wondering if there is any way this sort of package could be purchased - sky.com, call centre and in-store staff have said not possible. I thought it made sense in terms of the logic behind the idea and was wondering if this could be set up by exception or in a more specific way.

Property is only FTTC right now but Openreach are making their way down the street at the moment and I'd be surprised if in a few months there wasn't FTTP at the address.

I want to get the Black Friday deal for £35 including Sky Stream and 500 Mbps full fibre. They can only offer me that deal with 67 Mbps FTTC, and in that case if I then used the full fibre promise in future it would be the same 67 Mbps speed I'd be stuck with, right?

I was hoping they could sell me the 500 Mbps package now and leave a note on the system saying I can be offered 500 Mbps without touching my contract as soon as the Openreach FTTP goes live.

Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Thanks

If there's currently no FTTP availability at the address then that speed band just isn't going to be a selectable option on the sales platform.  Realistically there's no mechanism for achieving what you describe.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

@GokTV Working down the street, and it still took 1 Year later before the system went on sale, you have no idea where the build is at!

I don't, but I've spoken to three different Openreach engineers nearby lately and they've all given the same general timeline. Also addresses have been going live quite quickly after the engineer works are done.

Not sure your comment was necessary as it came across a bit condescending and didn't contribute anything constructive.
