Android Apps Not Working on Sky WiFi - Pixel Phone - Extensive Troubleshooting Done!

Hi everyone,
I'm a new Sky Broadband customer (activated yesterday, [Date your service was activated, e.g., 14th June]). I'm having a very frustrating issue where most of my Android apps (especially banking, My Sky app, etc.) refuse to open or connect when I'm on my home Sky Wi-Fi. General web Browse and speed tests work fine.
This is primarily affecting my Google Pixel phone.
I've already done extensive troubleshooting, both on my own and with Sky support, but the problem persists. Here's what I've tried:
* Restarted Sky Hub and all devices multiple times.
* Sky Broadband Shield: Confirmed by Sky that it's disabled.
* WiFi Max: Service activated, but no change.
* Forgot & Reconnected Wi-Fi network on my phone.
* Private DNS (Android setting): Checked and confirmed it's set to "Off" or "Automatic."
* Attempted Manual DNS: Tried to set DNS to 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 in my phone's Wi-Fi settings.
* Android System WebView: Confirmed it's fully up-to-date (version 137.0.7151.89).
* Cleared app cache/data and reinstalled problematic apps.
It's really puzzling how general internet access works but specific apps don't. Given that this seems to be a common issue for Android users with Sky Broadband according to other forum posts, I'm wondering if anyone else has faced this exact problem and found a solution?
Could this be a deeper network-level filtering issue from Sky's side, even with the Broadband Shield off? Has anyone had success with getting their external IP address changed, or any other advanced fixes?
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

@Sparky37 You where told that sky shield switch off is 24-48hrs to filter through everywhere, it is not an instant, and you can see the state off it via your account! What sky hub do you have as you failed to mention!

Hi thanks for the message. Actually I was told 2 hours, I didn't realise you were privy to the phone call. I did say I was upgraded to sky max, so obviously I've a sky max hub. If you don't have anything helpful to say don't feel obliged to reply!
