Amber light on modem

Hi, my fibre broadband isn’t working. The Openreach ONT has a red LOS light and the PON light is off. I’ve already restarted the ONT and checked the fibre cable connection. Power is fine, but the ONT can’t see the fibre signal. This is almost certainly an Openreach line fault, however I have been told my broadband provider must log it with Openreach for an engineer to investigate.

 

Ive tried multiple times to get through to someone at Sky but each time I am directed to call the same line, run a service test and because the test is coming back clear I can't get through to anyone. The line just cuts and says goodbye! 

Does anyone have any suggestion. Thanks in advance!
